ListHub is a complete listing marketplace you install on your own hosting. Businesses and property sellers register, publish their own listings, and pay you a recurring subscription to keep them visible. Buyers search, compare and contact sellers for free. There is no cart and no commission: you earn from seller subscriptions.

It suits directory owners, property portals, chambers of commerce, island, town and community guides, and agencies that want to run a local marketplace under their own brand. It runs on ordinary shared hosting with no coding, no Node and no VPS.

Requirements: PHP 8.2+, MySQL 5.7+ / MariaDB 10.3+, one cron job, an SMTP mailbox.

1. Create your domain or subdomain and switch on SSL.
2. Create an empty MySQL database and a database user.
3. Upload the ListHub zip into the domain's folder and extract it there. Delete any default index page your host put there.
4. Open your domain in a browser. The installer checks your server, then asks for:
   - your licence key (from your CodeCrate purchase)
   - your database details
   - your site name, country, currency and languages
   - your admin account
5. Log in at yourdomain.com/admin. A "Set up your site" checklist shows what to do next.
6. Add one cron job that runs every minute:
   /usr/bin/php /home/USER/domains/YOUR-DOMAIN/public_html/artisan schedule:run

Updates: download the new version from CodeCrate, then go to Admin > Settings > System update > Upload release zip. Your data, settings, uploads and translations are kept. No SSH needed.

First-time setup, in this order (the admin dashboard checklist follows the same order):
1. General settings: site name, logo, favicon, hero photo, contact details, terms and privacy pages
2. Appearance: pick a site theme, a colour scheme and a font
3. Email (SMTP): enter your mailbox details and send a test email
4. Categories and locations: add your own areas
5. Plans: set prices, listing limits and trial length
6. Payments: switch on a gateway and/or add your bank details
7. SEO: site description; allow search engines when you launch
8. Messaging (optional): SMS or WhatsApp
9. Load the sample data to explore, then remove it before launch

Every day: review new listings in the moderation queue, confirm bank transfers, and check abuse reports.
